Welcome!

My name is Julie Hoflin and I had been an admin/executive assistant and project coordinator for more than 20 years in “Corporate Canada”, but my world was forever changed in a single instant one beautiful Saturday afternoon in July of 2006.

From that moment on, nothing in my life would ever be the same. After almost 9 months of rehabilitation and recovery, I was anxious to return to work. However, it didn’t take long for my employer and me to see that my ‘old’ life just wasn’t right for me anymore. Although I’d adapted back to that fast-paced, high-energy environment, (and I was absolutely thrilled to be back at work), the cost of that adaptation to this ‘new normal’ was my quality of life overall.

What I love so much about providing virtual support to Coaches, Speakers, and the teams that support them, is I am able to do all the things I love most, while eliminating all the  limitations and challenges encountered in that corporate life. It’s win-win for everyone.

Often described as a ‘Techie-Creative’, client’s regularly say that by partnering with Your Versatile VA, they receive the perfect balance of technical know-how and assurance of overall compliance, but there’s also a dash of flair for the creative thrown in for fun.  My professional ‘happy place’ is doing a deep dive into a client’s systems and processes, piecing it all together and then recommending (and implementing) strategic and cost-saving improvements.

Having worked with a number of my clients for well over a decade, I have learned so much about versatility, adaptability and creative problem-solving through this journey. I’d love to help you figure out your best next steps.

My long-time love affair with photography allows me to unplug and lose myself for hours as I strive for that next perfect shot. I’m probably most fulfilled cooking for family and friends, going to the theatre and exploring this beautiful island where I am so privileged to live.

I’ve also recently taken up painting, and am truly amazed at how utterly relaxing it has turned out to be!
