Welcome to my website!  My name is Julie Hoflin and I’d been an admin/executive assistant and project coordinator for more than 20 years in “Corporate Canada”, but my world was forever changed in a single instant one beautiful Saturday afternoon in July of 2006.

From that moment on, nothing in my life would ever be the same. As I waited at a light a short distance away from my destination, my little Honda civic was rear-ended twice in a chain reaction crash. I had my dog in the car with me so the mama bear instinct kicked in, and my biggest concern was that he and everyone else involved was okay. You couldn’t visibly see it at the time, and I didn’t immediately feel the damage that had been done, but within a few short hours, G and I embarked on our journey of living with chronic pain syndrome.

After almost 9 months of rehabilitation and recovery, I was anxious to return to work. It wasn’t long before my employer and I both figured out – my ‘old’ life just wasn’t right for me anymore. Although I had more-or-less adapted back to that fast-paced, crazy environment, and I was happy to be back in the office, the cost of adapting to this ‘new normal’ was my overall quality of life.

And that’s what I love so much about providing virtual support to Coaches, Speakers, and the teams that support them. I am able to do all the things I love most, and turn the limitations of the corporate world and use them to everyone’s advantage.

Described as a ‘Techie-Creative’, there is nothing quite like doing a deep dive into a client’s systems and processes. It’s kind of like solving a good puzzle. And by partnering with Your Versatile VA, you get the perfect balance of technical know-how and a flair for the creative.

Having worked with a number of my clients for more than a decade, I have learned so much about versatility, adaptability and creative problem-solving through this journey, and I’d love to help you figure out your best next steps.

I’ve had a long-time love affair with photography, often losing myself for hours striving for that next perfect shot. I absolutely adore cooking for family and friends, going to the theatre and exploring this beautiful island I feel so  privileged to live on (camera in hand of course!)

I’ve also recently taken up painting, and am truly amazed at how relaxing it is!  I’m having such fun discovering my artistic side.
